Who we are
Salve is an independent skin and aesthetics clinic at 9 Clerkenwell Green, London EC1R 0DE. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
What we collect
Contact details — your name, email address and phone number.
Booking details — the treatments you ask about, your appointments and payments.
Health information — your medical history, medication, allergies, skin assessments and, with your consent, clinical photographs.
Website information — anonymous analytics about how pages are used.
Why we use it
We use your information to answer your enquiry, plan and carry out safe treatment, take deposits and payments, send appointment reminders and aftercare, and meet our legal and professional duties. We never sell your information and we don’t send marketing unless you ask us to.
Health information
Health information is special category data. We only collect what we need to treat you safely, we ask for your explicit consent, and only the practitioners caring for you can see it. We keep clinical records for as long as UK guidance requires — usually eight years after your last appointment.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run the clinic (booking, payment and email providers), with your GP if you ask us to, or when the law requires it. Each provider is bound to keep your information secure.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking are deleted after twelve months. Clinical and financial records are kept for the periods required by law.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we’ll reply within one month. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
